Dear Chamber Members,
What a great time of year! We spend too much money, eat too much food and stay out too late! Yet, when those holidays get here, we’re always excited and grateful for family and friends. And right now, that is exactly how I am feeling.
I consider all of you my family and friends. And because all of you mean so much to me, it is difficult to tell you I’m leaving The Chamber Jeffersontown. Wow, this is even harder than I thought! Some of you have been by my side for twelve years, and for that, I thank you. I have been blessed with a great job, an incredible staff and board of directors in a great city. But it’s time for me to move on.
The Chamber Jeffersontown has been a major part of my life. I’ve watched it grow from less than 200 members to over 800, from a staff of one to five and a festival that has grown in length and reputation. I will miss everyone immensely.
I have accepted a position as Program Director for Kosair Charities. I am looking forward to my new challenges with a great organization and having the opportunity to help children.
I hope to see many of you at our Holiday Open House on December 12th. My plan is to talk to each and every one of you so I can thank you personally. You’ve made my job rewarding, successful and, above all, FUN!!! That was my goal twelve years ago and you helped me reach it.
Sincerely,
Vicky Weber
