Road Closures

• Gaslight Festival 5k Run/Walk—The 5k Run/Walk is on TUES, September 12, 2023 and start/end at Jeffersontown City Hall.  Watterson Trail will close at 6:00pm in front of City Hall and reopen at approximately 8:30pm.
• Gaslight Festival Parade—The parade is on THURS, September 14, 2023 at 6:00pm.  Taylorsville Road will close at 5:15pm from Janlyn Drive to Watterson Trail.  Watterson Trail will be closed from Taylorsville Road to College Drive at 5:30pm.  The streets will reopen at approximately 9:00pm.  The Jtown Shopping Center will have some areas roped off on Thurs morning, September 15.  Staging for the parade will begin at 3:00pm at the shopping center.
• Gaslight Festival Car Show—The car show will be held on SUNDAY, September 17, 2023 from 1pm—4pm.  Taylorsville Road will be closed at College Drive/Old Six Mile and at Taylorsville Road and Sprowl at 10:00am and will reopen approximately 8:00pm.

Weekend Closures:

Taylorsville Road from Neal Drive to Jefferson Street, and Watterson Trail from Old Taylorsville Road to Billtown Road will be closed starting at 4:00pm on Friday, September 15 and will reopen on Sunday, September 17 at approximately 8:00pm.

And don’t forget to join us for the Business Appreciation Day Lunch in the Park!  Held at Skyview Park from 11:30am—1:00pm on WEDNESDAY, September 13, 2023.  Free hamburgers and hot dogs, drinks and music.  Please invite your employees so the City of Jeffersontown can show appreciation to all of the hard workers of Jtown!
